Make a clean center part, starting at the forehead to about three inches back, then divide the head in half (where the part ends) horizontally from ear to ear. Spray a root lifting spray at the crown to create volume, and backcomb the top portion. Next, pull the hair into a ponytail at the nape of the neck. Once in place, twist the right half of the ponytail over the left and secure with bobby-pins. Apply a spray-on texturizer to the ponytail to create a matte, messy texture and finish with hairspray.
